A title company plays a major role in the purchase or sale of real estate and has constant involvement from the time a contract is ratified to the completion of the transfer of title. Have you ever wondered what actually goes on behind the scenes? What happens during a title exam? What are some potential title issues and how does the title company get involved to help you clear those issues and get to closing? What role does the title company play in protecting the interests of your client?

This class will review the step by step process of getting your clients from contract to closing. We’ll discuss the behind the scenes of the title and contract review process. We’ll take a look at what you should know about the important decisions regarding surveys and title insurance and how they can impact your client. We’ll shed some light on realistic time frames, how to avoid pitfalls and overcome common last minute challenges and why filling out those pesky information sheets can be so important.

    Lunch will be served.
