    Calling all Elves and Santa Helpers!

    Please join us as we assist our friends at Boulder Crest Retreat!

    It is the holiday season and the retreat needs help decorating the main activities lodge and the cabins and collecting fun holiday and seasonal items for the cabins.

    Vesta will be going out to the retreat on Dec. 1st to help with setting up the trees in the cabins or the lodge, purchasing and stringing lots of lights, wrapping garland around the columns and hanging wreaths etc. We have our work cut out for us to help Boulder Crest prepare for their Holiday season and for their holiday overnight guests.

    We are also collecting fun holiday and snow season items to stock the cabins. We are looking for donations of: Hot cocoa mix, large mugs, cookie cutters, sleds, snow ball makers, snow toys and any other winter staples. We want to help ensure that the military families staying at the retreat feel at home throughout the upcoming holidays and winter season. The cabins are stocked with the necessities, but it's these little pieces that help everything come together. Feel free to be creative!

    Overview of the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosures

     By now, most of you are aware of the changes that will come into play effective October 3rd as a result of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's new TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule. The rule is a result of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act and is designed to improve the way consumers receive information about mortgage loans and the fees associated with purchasing a home.

    The TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule mandates the use of two new disclosures, the Loan Estimate which will replace the Good Faith Estimate and the initial Truth in Lending Disclosure and the new Closing Disclosure which will replace the HUD-1 and the final Truth in Lending Disclosure.

    These disclosures and requirements will be effective October 3, 2015. This class is designed to give you an overview of the rule and the new forms and help you prepare for how these changes may affect the way you do business.
